Water Colour Inspiration

Water Colour is definitely a type of media I have always wanted to master. Now that I am doing design it has become a whole lot easier to trial out as water colour is one of the medias we have to use in our design illustration. Lately on tumblr I have been seeing a lot of water colour faces, eyes, lips and just some briliant art work. I know that during the major holidays I will deifently be practicing my water colour and Illustrations. Here are some of the major water colour artworks that have been inspiring me a lot these past few weeks.

Cai Guo-Qiang: Falling Back to Earth

The other week I was lucky enough to go to the Cai Guo-Qiang: Falling Back to Earth exhibition held here in Brisbane at GOMA. I won't lie it was quite amazing! Honestly if we didn't have a limit on our parking we would of stayed all day! It was amazing to be able to get up close to the wolf exhibit. A lot of tiny details brought this entire thing to life. In the wolf exhibit it was increduble how each wold has so much emotion in their face and in the watering hole exibit it was just incredible how real everything looked!

It is on until May 11 and defiently work a look.

C-Heads

C-Heads Magazine - Magazine for photography, fashion, music & youth culture

Just got introduced to C-heads thanks to a fellow blogger friend of mine Denim Heart. I don't even know how I have never ever heard of this amazing website! So much incredible and beautiful photography and inspiration. This is definitely going to be a go to website for my design assignments! The reason for this post is because I fell inlove with a shoot on their webpage and just knew i had to share it on my blog. It is Maya Donovan by Di Henri for C-heads.

New Hair

For anyone who knows me they will know that I will always find the cheapest way to do something. When it comes to hair I like to hair model. Hair modelling is the act of trusting your hair to an apprentices hands and hoping they do well. So far I have had some good experiences! (touch wood).

A few week ago I got asked if I wanted to model my hair and a friend of mine was doing a color correction as I have had a weird hair modelling experience where she baliaged the front of my hair but not at the back leaving me with two random sections of blonde hair. I wanted a change and I am always hearing my boyfriend wanting me to get red hair but I wasn't a fan until i saw this.

So i showed her this and she has helped me to do the blonde which has turned out like this.

And now I am yet to find someone to do my red for cheap as being a poor fashion student sucks!!
Will keep the updates coming!

Amy Chen

At the end of 2013 around November I got asked to model for Amy Chen! She is an amazing designer who just graduated recently and who I met through modelling for the Fleet store. Hahaha gosh it can get so complicated sometimes. Anyhow I thought i would share some photos with you all!
